John Grant Sets June Release For New Album 'Boy From Michigan', Shares Title Track

Wednesday, 24 March 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

John Grant has unveiled a new song.

Boy From Michigan serves as the title track of the Colorado artist's forthcoming fifth studio album, due out on June 25 via Bella Union.

The follow-up to 2018's 'Love Is Magic' was produced by Grant's longtime friend Cate Le Bon, while its opening synth-pop offering comes with a trippy animated video directed by Casey & Ewan, aka filmmakers Casey Raymond and Ewan Jones Morris. Take a look below along with the record's artwork and tracklist.

Grant will support the release with a previously announced UK and Ireland tour in the autumn. He also has Irish shows in the diary, which are still set to go ahead in June and July subject to COVID-19 restrictions. Tickets are on sale now.
