Paul McCartney Shares Ed O'Brien's Remix Of Slidin' From 'McCartney III Imagined' Album

Wednesday, 07 April 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Paul McCartney has revealed Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien's remix of his song Slidin'.

The reinterpretation doesn't deviate far from the original, though layering of additional vocals and guitars dials up its intensity. It'll appear on the Beatles legend's remix album, 'McCartney III Imagines', due out on April 16.

The record also boasts takes of tracks from the 78-year-old's latest solo LP, 'McCartney III', by Blood Orange, Blur's Damon Albarn, Anderson .Paak, Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme, St Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, Idris Elba, 3D, EOB, and Khruangbin.

Beck recently covered Find My Way, while Dominic Fike took on The Kiss Of Venus.
