Japanese Breakfast, aka Michelle Zauner, has shared a new track.
Posing In Bondage serves as the latest preview of her upcoming album, 'Jubilee', due out on June 4 via Dead Oceans. It comes paired with an unsettling self-directed video shot at a grocery store. Zauner said:
"Posing In Bondage is a ballad about loneliness and longing, a song about two people who want so badly to connect but are never quite able to do so. No place felt lonelier than an empty grocery at 1AM.
"The video is actually an epilogue to the one that will accompany our next single, here presented out of order."
The spacey song marks the second single off the follow-up to 2017's 'Soft Sounds From Another Planet', following Be Sweet, released in March.
Japanese Breakfast will support the record with tour dates across North America beginning in August. Tickets are on sale now.
