Feeder Annouce New Album 'Torpedo' And Spring UK Tour

Feeder have announced a new album and UK tour.
'Torpedo', the follow-up to 2019's 'Tallulah', is due for release on March 18 via Big Teeth Music. Head below to check out its eponymous first single, which finds Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose drawing on their heavier rock and grunge roots, while also delivering their trademark melodic vocals for the chorus.
The band will support the record with a spring UK tour, calling in Bexhill, Oxford, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham and London, where they'll wrap up the run at the O2 Academy Brixton on May 6. Tickets go on general sale from 10am on September 3.
Discussing the record, title track and upcoming shows, frontman Nicholas said:
“After the frustration of not being able to perform live I really wanted to come back with a bang and a classic heavier but melodic Feeder song. All the emotion and frustration just caused a creative wave. Dynamically and musically Torpedo felt like the obvious choice for us to drop first. The chorus has a thread of positivity that brings light to the darker verses.
"We are really looking forward to going out on the road again and playing the new album material. This will be the heaviest Feeder set we’ve played in a while so can’t wait. We may revisit some heavier old school Feeder classics also and touch on some Renegades and All Bright electric stuff.”
