The Coral To Celebrate Self-Titled Debut Album 20 Year Anniversary With Spring 2022 UK Tour

Monday, 06 September 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

The Coral will mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album with a UK tour in March.

The band will perform the 2002 self-titled record in full, along with select cuts from their back catalogue, at shows in Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bristol, Oxford, Leeds, Nottingham, Glasgow and Newcastle, wrapping up with two homecoming gigs at Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on September 10.

As part of the celebrations, the group have shared details of a remastered and expanded reissue of 'The Coral', due out on March 4 via Run On Records in association with Modern Sky UK. It'll comprise the original record's tracklist, as well as two previously unheard tracks from the recording sessions, She's The Girl For Me and Tumble Graves, produced by Ian Broudie. Head here for further details.

The announcement arrives with a remastered version of their 2001 'Shadows Fall' EP, available now via streaming services. The quintet put out their 10th studio album, 'Coral Island', in April, following up 2018's 'Move Through The Dawn'.
