Mitski Announces 2022 Tour Dates, Posts New Song Working For The Knife

Mitski is back with a new single and tour dates.
Working For The Knife features production from her longtime collaborator Patrick Hyland and marks the singer-songwriter's return to the spotlight after a two-year hiatus.
Fusing acoustic guitar lines with dark synth effects, the electro-industrial track marks her first proper single since her 2018 album 'Be The Cowboy'. It comes with a video filmed at The Egg in Albany, New York, and directed by Zia Anger with Ashley Connor. Mitski said:
"It’s about going from being a kid with a dream, to a grown up with a job, and feeling that somewhere along the way you got left behind. It’s being confronted with a world that doesn’t seem to recognise your humanity, and seeing no way out of it."
Mitski has also confirmed a 2022 tour, beginning in North America, followed by UK and European dates in the spring, marking her first appearances over here since 2018. Tickets go on general sale at 9am local time on October 8.
