James Blake Posts Funeral Remix Featuring Slowthai

James Blake has enlisted Slowthai for a new version of Funeral.
The original track appears on the Grammy Award-winning artist's fifth studio album, 'Friends That Break Your Heart', released earlier in October.
Mirroring the song's sullen metaphoric theme, the revamp retains Blake's mournful vocals but drops his second verse for an emotional contribution from the Northampton MC. It comes with a gloomy video, which you can check out below.
This isn't the first time the pair have worked together. In 2020, Blake joined Slowthai on his track Feel Away, which also featured Mount Kimbie.
Blake will embark on the UK and European leg of his Friends That Break Your Heart Tour in spring 2022. He's currently on the road in the United States.
Slowthai, meanwhile, will hit the road for the Hell Is Home UK and Ireland Tour in March 2022. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
