The track is the latest to be shared from 'Otherness', the Canadian post-hardcore band's first new studio album in 13 years, which is due out on June 24.
The solemn, melodic song features lyrics by guitarist and backing vocalist Wade MacNeil that are delivered via a compelling performance from Dallas Green. Co-lead vocalist George Pettit said:
“Wade came in with the lyrics for this song around the same time he had been working on the Dooms Children record and I feel like it shows. The Dooms Children album touched on a lot of things extremely personal to Wade and this song is definitely in that vein.”
MacNeil added: "This song is about hanging onto hope during the heaviest times. Healing and letting go. Dreaming of a future where all this hurt is behind you."
Following shows in North America, AOF will return to the UK in June to headline Slam Dunk. They'll then cross the pond again for more US shows in the fall.
