Suga of K-pop group BTS has announced his debut solo album under the alias Agust D.
Big Hit Entertainment, who also manage BTS, confirmed the news in a tweet, revealing that 'D-DAY' will arrive on April 21 at 1pm (KST)/12am (EST).
Suga, who wrote and produced the songs on the project, will embark on the Agust D Tour in late April, with 11 concerts scheduled across the US and Asia, wrapping up on June 25 in Seoul, South Korea.
His debut mixtape, 'Agust D', arrived in 2016, followed by the 'D-2' mixtape in 2020. In March, he shared a second teaser for a solo documentary, Road To D-Day, which will land on Disney+ and the fan community app Weverse, although a premiere date has not yet been announced.
Other solo releases from BTS members include Jimin's album 'Face', RM's album 'Indigo', J-Hope's LP 'Jack In the Box', and Jin's single The Astronaut. BTS are currently on hiatus to explore individual solo projects, and to serve their mandatory military service.
