Peter Gabriel has shared a new song called Olive Tree.
Offering an uptempo preview of the British artist's forthcoming album, 'i/o', it's the eighth single to be shared from the record, which is still awaiting a release date. In addition to a string arrangement from John Metcalfe, the song features contributions from Manu Katché on drums, Tony Levin on bass, David Rhodes on guitar, Josh Shpak on trumpet and additional percussion from Ged Lynch.
As with previous cuts shared from the LP, it arrives alongside the new lunar phase, with Gabriel posting the song alongside August's Sturgeon Moon. Again, in line with previous singles, it comes with a number of different mixes, with Mark Stent's Bright Side Mix streaming below.
He has North American tour dates scheduled for September and October, tickets for which are on sale now. Head below for details
