Jeff Goldblum Announces Star-Studded New Album 'Still Blooming'

Friday, 31 January 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Jeff Goldblum has announced a new album.

The actor and instrumentalist has again collaborated with his longtime band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, and will release 'Still Blooming' through Decca Records on April 25.

To coincide with the news, the 72-year-old has shared the record's first single, an airy, bossa nova interpretation of the 1959 jazz standard The Best Is Yet To Come featuring husky vocals from fellow actor Scarlett Johansson.

Other guests on the record include Goldblum's Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who contribute to I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do) and We'll Meet Again, respectively, and classically trained vocalist Maiya Sykes on Stella By Starlight. Goldblum shows off his own vocal talents on Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye.

Goldblum's most recent album is 2019's 'I Shouldn't Be Telling You This', though last year he put out the festive EP 'A Very Goldblum Christmas', and the 'Plays Well With Others' EP in 2023.

'Still Blooming' tracklist:

1. I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do) [Feat. Ariana Grande]
2. The Grease Patrol
3. We’ll Meet Again [Feat. Cynthia Erivo]
4. Blue Minor
5. The Best Is Yet To Come [Feat. Scarlett Johansson]
6. Bye-Ya
7. Stella By Starlight [Feat. Maiya Sykes]
8. Bouncing With Bud
9. Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye [Feat. Jeff Goldblum]
