Jeff Goldblum Releases New 'Night Blooms' Single Mean To Me Featuring Dodie

Jeff Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra have shared another track from their upcoming album, 'Night Blooms'.
The charming reinterpretation of the 1929 jazz standard Mean To Me, originally written by Fred E. Ahlert and Roy Turk, came from several live performances last year, where Dodie joined the American actor and musician on stage as a guest vocalist. Goldblum later made a cameo in the video for Dodie's video for I Feel Bad For You, Dave.
Serving up Dodie's soft vocals and clarinet playing over Goldblum's smooth piano, the laid-back track follows the previously released Misty with Melody Gardot in previewing the companion album to 2025's 'Still Blooming', due out on June 5 via Universal's revived Fontana label.
The album includes 12 new versions of classic Hollywood golden era songs performed by Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, with appearances from his Wicked co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande (on separate tracks), Haley Reinhart, Charlie Puth, Scarlett Johansson and more.
Goldblum recently expanded his Night Blooms World Tour with additional UK and Ireland shows in Wolverhampton, Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin, leading up to a special performance with a full orchestra at London's Royal Albert Hall on June 30.
The tour begins with Australian dates between April 24 to May 5 and includes a handful of European gigs in early July. Tickets are on sale now.
