Sabrina Carpenter Joins Performer Line-Up For BRIT Awards And Receives Global Success Award

Sabrina Carpenter will receive the Global Success award at the BRIT Awards and perform at its ceremony in London next month.
The award, which recognises "phenomenal global sales", will be collected by the American pop singer on March 1 at London's O2 Arena. Carpenter will make history as the first international artist to win the trophy, after a decision by BRIT bosses opened the award up to overseas artists. Previous winners include One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Adele and Sam Smith.
Carpenter is also nominated in the International Artist Of The Year and International Song Of The Year categories. Head here for a full list of nominees. Back in December, Myles Smith was announced as the winner of the 2025 BRITs Rising Star award.
Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025, Damian Christian said: "Congratulations to Sabrina on winning this prestigious award. Everyone involved in the show is looking forward to her performance, which promises to be one of the highlights of the night."
Other acts set to take to the stage at the ceremony include Little Mix's JADE, Myles Smith, Shaboozey and Teddy Swims. Tickets for The Brit Awards ceremony are on sale now. Jack Whitehall will be returning to host the event after previously taking the helm in 2022. The show will also be broadcast live on ITV1 and streaming service ITVX.
BRITs Week for War Child will return next week, with Cat Burns, Joy Crookes, Rachel Chinouriri, Frank Turner, Nova Twins, Kasabian, Clean Bandit, Tom Walker, Soft Play and Rag'n'Bone Man all headlining intimate shows between February 17 and March 5. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
Carpenter recently announced a deluxe edition of her 2024 album 'Short n' Sweet', featuring a new version of her track Please Please Please with country icon Dolly Parton. Fresh from winning two Grammy Awards — Best Pop Vocal Album for the 2024 record and Best Pop Solo Performance for the Espresso — the 25-year-old revealed that an extended version of the record will drop this Friday (February 14). The singer will head out for the UK and European leg of her Short n' Sweet Tour this spring. She will also top the bill at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in June and the BST Hyde Park series in London in July, with support from special guest Clairo and Beabadoobee, plus more. Tickets are on sale now.
