Parkway Drive Return With Video For New Single Sacred

Parkway Drive have returned with a new single, Sacred.

Offering metalcore aggression, elements of classic heavy metal and pummelling guitar riffs, the anthemic track marks the Byron Bay metal giants' first new material since the release of their 2022 album, 'Darker Still'. "The mission statement for Sacred is pretty damn simple. An anthemic wrecking ball of positive energy. Our lives and the way we exist in the world has been pushed further and further through the lenses and frames of negativity and hopelessness. Obsession with everything we lack, everything we hate, everyone we blame, everything that keeps us down. We sell the unique parts of us most precious just to buy back manufactured pieces of self in order that we may feel whole again. Sacred is our identity. Sacred is our time. Never lose sight and never lose hope."

The track arrives ahead of the band's landmark symphonic show at the Sydney Opera House on June 9, and their dates as rotating headliners alongside Beartooth, I Prevail and Parkway Drive on the Summer Of Loud Tour across North America this summer.

In the autumn, they'll embark on their 20 Year Anniversary Arena Tour across Europe, which includes UK shows at London's OVO Arena Wembley, Birmingham's Utilita Arena and Manchester AO Arena between October 4 and 6. Support will come from Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction. Tickets are on sale now.
