Stereolab Share New Single Transmuted Matter Ahead Of 'Instant Holograms On Metal Film' Release

Stereolab have shared a new single, Transmuted Matter.
Built on a busy and hypnotic percussion and bass-led groove with synth textures and layered vocals, it serves as the third preview of the avant-pop group's first new album in 15 years, 'Instant Holograms On Metal Film', due out this Friday (May 23).
The band previously teased the long-awaited record with the singles Melodie Is a Wound, and Aerial Troubles. The project also includes contributions from Bitchin' Bajas' Cooper Crain and Rob Frye, International Anthem's Ben LaMar Gay, Ric Elsworth, Cavern Of Anti-Matter's Holger Zapf, Marie Merlet, and Molly Hansen Read.
Stereolab will embark on a European tour this weekend, before North American dates between mid-September and early November, and UK dates in December. Tickets are on sale now.
