Miley Cyrus has announced that Something Beautiful, the companion film accompanying her upcoming album of the same name, will hit the big screen this summer.
Featuring 13 songs from the album, the pop opera will be shown in cinemas for one night only across North America on June 12, and internationally on June 27, following its premiere at New York's Beacon Theatre on June 6 as part of the Tribeca Festival.
"Something Beautiful is my dream project come true—fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony. My co-creators are all geniuses in their own right: from the masters of sound, Shawn Everett and Alan Meyerson, to one of cinema’s most unique directors, Panos Cosmatos serving as a producer. Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality."
Songs already shared from 'Something Beautiful' include More To Lose, End Of The World, Prelude and the title track, with the visual project set to arrive on May 30 via Columbia Records.
