Lola Young has announced her new album.
The Ivor Novello's Rising Star Award-winner and BRIT-nominated artist will drop 'I’m Only F**king Myself' through Island Records on September 19, following up 2024's 'This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway'.
Produced by frequent collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC, best known for his work with Doja Cat and SZA, the record will include last month's single, One Thing. Another preview, Not Like That Anymore, is due to be released tomorrow (June 20).
Taking to social media, Young described the project as, "my ode to self sabotage, my chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat."
Having performed at the ongoing Little Simz-curated Meltdown Festival in London earlier this week, Young has a busy summer ahead, with festival appearances lined up across the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury next Friday, and Reading and Leeds in August. The South Londoner will also tour North America later in the year. Tickets are on sale now.
