Blood Orange has announced a short run of UK shows for the autumn.
The singer-songwriter, real name Dev Hynes, will play three dates at the Alexandra Palace Theatre in London on November 8, 9 and 10, with all shows presented in an intimate, in-the-round setting. He'll then take over Electric Bristol on November 13. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 11).
The gigs are part of a newly announced European tour that runs between October 29 and November 15, when he'll support Lorde at her Manchester AO Arena show.
He'll also support Turnstile and Lorde at select shows in North America in late summer and early fall, before heading back to North America after the European run for headline shows in Toronto and Brooklyn.
Hynes returned last month with his first new song in three years, The Field, a collaboration with The Durutti Column, Tariq Al-Sabir, Caroline Polachek and Daniel Caesar. The track marks his first new music under his Blood Orange moniker since dropping his 'Four Songs' EP in 2022. He's also been busy working with other artists and productions, including both film and theatre.
In May, he appeared alongside Paramore's Hayley Williams on Turnstile's 'Never Enough' track Seein' Stars. He'll support the Baltimore band on their North American tour this fall. Get tickets here.
