Shame Tease 'Cutthroat' With New Single Quiet Life

Shame have shared another track from their upcoming album.
Taking a detour from their punk-infused roots into more rockabilly-influence territory, Quiet Life marks the second preview of 'Cutthroat', due out through Dead Oceans on September 5.
Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Pedro Takahashi and produced by FRIEND. Vocalist Charlie Steen said:
"Quiet Life is about someone in a shitty relationship. It’s about the judgment they receive and the struggle that they have to go through, trying to understand the conflict they face, of wanting a better life… but being stuck."
The South London band previously shared the title track of the John Congleton-produced record, which they'll support with previously scheduled UK and European dates between September 28 and November 20, followed by a newly announced North American tour early next year. Ahead of the tour, they'll support Wunderhorse at Dublin's Wider Than Pictures concert series on August 19 and 20. Tickets are on sale now.
