The Last Dinner Party Detail New Album 'From The Pyre' With First Single This Is The Killer Speaking

The Last Dinner Party have laid out plans for their sophomore album.
The two-time BRIT Award-winners will release 'From The Pyre' through Island Records on October 17, following up 2024's 'Prelude To Ecstasy' and the subsequent deluxe edition, 'Prelude To Ecstasy: Acoustics and Covers'.
Recorded alongside Grammy-winning producer Markus Dravs, known for his work with Wolf Alice, Florence + The Machine, and Björk, the record is introduced with the new single This Is The Killer Speaking, which blends glam-rock influences, sweeping strings and spoken-word passages for a dark, dramatic preview of what's to come.
The Last Dinner Party are currently in the middle of a run of UK and European festival dates, with performances lined up at Kendal Calling, Truck, Tramlines, Victorious, and a headline slot at Forwards in Bristol. Tickets are on sale now.
In May, the band's guitarist Lizzie Mayland released her debut solo EP, 'The Slow Fire Of Sleep', under the name L.Mayland.
