Due to demand, Kendrick Lamar has added new dates to the upcoming Australian leg of The Grand National Tour.
The Grammy-winning Compton rapper will double up at Melbourne's AAMI Park on December 4 and Sydney's Allianz Stadium on December 11, following his previously scheduled shows in those cities on December 3 and 10, respectively. He'll be joined at both new dates by Grammy-winning Florida rapper Doechii.
Tickets for the Melbourne show go on general sale at 1pm local time on Monday (August 11), with the Sydney show on sale at 2pm local time the same day.
Lamar's new shows are scheduled to take place alongside his previously confirmed headline performances at the Australian touring festival Spilt Milk, which will visit Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and the Gold Coast on December 6, 7, 13 and 14, respectively.
The Grand National Tour is currently making its way through Europe as a co-headline run with SZA. It continues with a show in the Polish capital, Warsaw, tonight (August 6), with the leg concluding in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday (August 9). Following that, it'll head to Mexico City before dates in South America. Tickets are on sale now.
Lamar is touring in support of his latest album, 'GNX', released last November. Doechii, meanwhile, won Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy Awards for her 2024's 'Alligator Bites Never Heal'. She'll tour Australia for the first time with Spilt Milk festival, following her own Live From The Swamp Tour across North America in the fall. Tickets for those dates go on general sale at 10am local time on August 11.
She'll also appear at Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival on August 17, headline Bristol's Forwards Festival on August 24, All Things Go Festival in Queens (NY) on September 27 and Colombia (MD) the next day, Texas' Austin City Limits Festival on October 4 and 11, and One Music Festival in Atlanta on October 26. Tickets are on sale now.
