Poppy, Evanescence's Amy Lee and Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante have joined forces for a new collaborative single.
Serving up the distinct styles of three of rock’s most prominent signature voices, the dark and empowering End Of You opens with haunting, atmospheric textures before building through crushing guitar riffs and glitchy industrial beats.
Lee contributes soaring, emotionally-charged power, while Poppy switches between clean and screamo vocals, with LaPlante delivering clean tones aswell as her intense signature growls. Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Jensen Noen.
Poppy released her sixth studio album, 'Negative Spaces', last November. More recently, she joined Babymetal on From Me To U, a track from the Japanese trio's latest album, 'Metal Forth', which also features LaPlante on My Queen. She's currently touring North America, with dates running through to October.
In May, Lee teamed up with Halsey for the collaborative single Hand That Feeds, from the soundtrack to the film Ballerina, to which Evanescence also contributed Fight Like A Girl featuring K.Flay. The band have a series of headline US shows in the diary for mid-September, with Poppy supporting on select dates.
They'll support My Chemical Romance in Tampa on September 13, before an appearance at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky on September 21. They'll also open for Metallica at shows in Australia and New Zealand in November. Tickets are on sale now.
In March, the band released a new song titled Afterlife. An alternate version of the track features in the Netflix animated series Devil May Cry, an adaptation of the popular video game. They have also been busy working on the follow-up to their fifth album, 2021's 'The Bitter Truth'.
Spiritbox will head out across North America in mid-November for another leg of their Tsunami Sea Tour, which shares its name with their second album, released in March. Tickets are on sale now.
