Holly Humberstone has released a new single, Die Happy.
Dreamy and atmospheric, the love song draws inspiration from gothic works such as The Bloody Chamber and Dracula, and arrives with a visualizer by Silken Weinberg, who has previously worked alongside Ethel Cain. Humberstone said:
"I wrote Die Happy thinking about a fairytale at night, somewhere between driving fast with the windows down and wandering through a crumbling old house. I took inspiration from The Bloody Chamber and Dracula and I wanted to show the feeling of throwing yourself into love fully and recklessly. There is danger in love."
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter's last project came in the form of her 'Work In Progress' EP, released last year, following her 2023 debut studio album 'Paint My Bedroom Black'.
After supporting Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour shows at London's Wembley Stadium last year, she'll join Sam Fender on his Australian People Watching Tour this month, with a handful of headlining shows squeezed in along the way. Head here for details.
