The Black Crowes have shared a video for Profane Prophecy.

The soul-infused rocker arrived earlier this month alongside another single, Pharmacy Chronicles, and details of the Grammy-nominated Atlanta rock legends' 10th studio album, 'A Pound of Feathers', due out on March 13 via Silver Arrow Records.

Written solely by founding brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, and crafted in just under two weeks in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce, the record follows 2024's 'Happiness Bastards', which was nominated for Best Rock Album at last year's Grammy Awards.

The video, meanwhile, draws on the provocative style of exploitation filmmaker Russ Meyer, and was directed by artist and musician Dagger Polyester, who worked with 15 students from a Los Angeles art collective to bring the trippy promo to life. Chris said:

"Profane Prophecy is about the devil you know, the devil you never knew, the devil inside of me and devil inside of you. The mischief and madness in the beautiful expression that is rock n roll… and you can dance to it."

The Black Crowes will play the inaugural State Fayre festival in Chelmsford, England in June, along with headliners Kings Of Leon, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts, and The Lumineers.

Their return to the UK follows live dates in Australia and Japan in April. They'll also support Guns N' Roses in Las Vegas, Edmonton, Vancouver and San Diego between August 22 and September 2. Tickets are on sale.
