Dr Hook are an American soft rock outfit hailing from New Jersey. Formed in 1967, the band’s line-up would go through many changes in their short career, but is best known by its frontmen Dennis Locorriere and Ray Sawyer.

Though their run lasted from just ‘67 to 1985, the band would release a collection of eleven studio albums and a number of successful hits, including Sylvia’s Mother, The Cover of Rolling Stone, Sharing the Night Together, Sexy Eyes, When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman, and Only Sixteen.
