Hugh Alan Cornwell is an English alt-rock and new wave singer-songwriter hailing from Tufnell Park, North London. Born in 1974, he’s perhaps best known as the frontman of The Stranglers, in which he sang and played guitar. He has also carved a successful solo career, releasing a string of popular records.
Becoming the best paid band in punk with The Stranglers, Cornwell was always destined to have a strong presence in the music scene, even past the demise of the band in 1990. ‘Totem and Taboo’, hit shelves in 2013, followed by 'The Fall and Rise of Hugh Cornwell' in 2015, 'Beyond Elysian Fields' in 2016, and his latest, 2017's 'This Time It's Personal' with John Cooper Clarke.
Hugh Cornwell of the Stranglers has confirmed a huge tour for November supporting his new album 'Monster', which is due for release on October 5 2018. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
