Michael Bolton is an American pop rock singer-songwriter from New Haven, Connecticut. He is best known for tracks such as How Am I Supposed to Live Without You, How Can We Be Lovers?, Love Is A Wonderful Thing and a cover of Percy Sledge's When A Man Loves A Woman, which saw him hit the top of the Billboard 100.
Starting his music career in 1975, he released his debut self-titled solo album, which was followed by ‘Everyday of My Life’, in 1976, before forming Blackjack in 1979. The band released two albums before disbanding in 1980. It wasn’t until the release of his fifth album, ‘The Hunger’, released in 1987, that he started to gain recognition and he gained his first hit with his next release, ‘Soul Provider’, in 1989, which hit #3 in the Billboard 200. He released his 23rd album, ‘Songs of Cinema’, in February 2017.
He has headlined his own shows and tours across the USA and UK, including a tour with Gabrielle in the UK in 2016, and an appearance at Poole's Upton House in June 2017 in support of ‘Songs of Cinema’.
Following his successful brace of shows for February 2018, Michael Bolton has now announced plans to hit the UK again this autumn with the Time, Love & Tenderness Greatest Hits tour. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.
