Broken Social Scene is a Canadian indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario, formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, and consisting of a rotating array of musicians, including in the past the likes of Feist, Torquil Campbell of Stars and James Shaw and Emily Haines of Metric.
Formed in 1999, the band released their debut album, ‘Feel Good Lost’, in 2001, which was followed by ‘You Forgot It in People’, in 2002, a self-titled third album in 2005 and ‘Forgiveness Rock Record’ in 2010, which hit #1 in the Canadian chart. The band are expected to release a new record in 2017.
Broken Social Scene have announced a spring UK and Ireland tour, ahead of their set at All Points East festival in London.
