Line Up & Tickets Announced For BRMB Live 2010

Later next month Birmingham's LG Arena will host one of the biggest concerts the city has ever seen, announcing a pop music extravaganza in the form of the first ever 'BRMB Live'.

The radio station has already confirmed massive pop acts such as McFly, James Blunt, The Saturdays, Diana Vickers, Example, The Hoosiers and Olly Murs for the star-studded event, with boyband The Wanted being the latest additions to the bill. More acts are set to be announced in the coming weeks with around a dozen pop acts to appear on the finished line-up.

The Wanted release their new single 'Heart Vacancy' on October 17th with their debut album out later this month. The boys will be looking to build on the success of their most recent hit 'All Time Low' as well as showcasing their new material at BRMB Live 2010.

Speaking about the event, those artists already confirmed for the show had the following to say.

Una from The Saturdays said: “We’re really excited about the gig as our tour doesn’t come to Birmingham so now this means we get to play to our Midlands based fans”.

Diana Vickers added: “I can’t wait to play to such a big crowd, it’s been an amazing year so far but this gig promises to be the biggest and best yet!”

Tom from McFly concluded: “We’re really looking forward to playing in November, we’ll have just come off a mini tour so we’ll be ‘tour fit’ and ready to the rock the LG Arena. Plus we’ll be playing an exclusive medley of McFly classics on the night.”

James Blunt, who returns with a new album in November commented: “I can’t wait for this gig, I’ve been locked in the studio for the last year so I can’t wait to perform live again.”

BRMB Chief Executive Phil Riley said: “The people of Birmingham have been asking us to bring back big live music events, we’re hoping that Live 2010 has all the makings of being the biggest party Birmingham has seen in years.”

BRMB Live 2010 will take place on Saturday November 27th at Birmingham's LG Arena.
