Stereoboard can confirm that Newport rockers Skindred will be embarking on an April 2012 tour with Irish alternative metal band Therapy?.
The two bands will line-up alongside each other for five confirmed dates so far, while further dates could possibly be added. Currently, the tour sees the pair rocking out venues in Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, London and Bristol.
While there is only a small number of dates, there have been many reports flying around the net that Therapy? announced on stage that there would be a midlands date while they were onstage last Monday, meaning further dates could easily be added.
The tour comes half a year after the release of Skindred’s latest album ‘Union Black’, which saw the band experimenting with the electronic side of music such as drum and bass and dubstep. Therapy? will also have a new album out by the time the tour rolls around; February 2012 will see the release of ‘A Brief Crack of Light’, which will be the band’s 13th album.
So, with the two bands armed with an album full of new material and two superb, classic-filled back catalogues, you’d be a fool to miss them if they come to a city near you – so make sure you get your hands on tickets. Tickets will be on sale soon.
