Biffy Clyro Nervous At Idea Of Playing New Material

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have revealed that they’re feeling ‘nervous’ about play songs from their forthcoming double album.
The band are currently in Los Angeles recording material they’ve been writing for the past year, and have already previously confessed that the stuff they were writing was of a ‘different style’ to their usual sound – though they added that they were ‘comfortable’ with their new material.
Now they’ve revealed that they’re feeling nervous ahead of performing the new material for the first time when they play sets at both RockNess Festival and Download Festival in the summer.
“It will be the first or second time we'll have had a chance to play these songs live,” bassist James Johnston told the Daily Record. “It's quite exciting. It makes me nervous sitting in my living room and thinking about playing these songs live having kept them under wraps for so long. That's always an exciting point, when you come out of the studio with a finished song with the chance to play it to the world. We're looking forward to that a lot.”
