Primal Scream Confirm Release Of 'Give Out But Don't Give Up - The Original Memphis Recordings'

Monday, 20 August 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Primal Scream have announced a new album, of sorts.

In 1993 the band headed to Memphis, Tennessee to work with legendary producer Tom Dowd, who has a résumé that includes John Coltrane, Eric Clapton, Diana Ross, Eagles and Aretha Franklin, among many others. There they recorded with the Muscle Shoals rhythm section. However, the record was never released.

The Bobby Gillespie-led outfit will now put out 'Give Out But Don’t Give Up - The Original Memphis Recordings' on October 12. It follows up 2016's 'Chaosmosis'. Head below to check out a trailer for the album.
