Thursday, 28 November 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Gorillaz have shared a trailer for their upcoming documentary film.

Titled Gorillaz: Reject False Icons and directed by Denholm Hewlett, the son of Gorillaz' Jamie, the film will hit cinemas worldwide for one night only on December 16.

The documentary captures life in the studio with the virtual band's co-founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, as well as producers the Twilite Tone of D / P, Remi Kabaka and James Ford. There's also unseen footage of the making of two of the band's albums, 2017's 'Humanz' and 2018's 'The Now Now', plus an all access look into their biggest world tour to date.
