Biffy Clyro Confirm May Release For New Album 'A Celebration Of Endings' And Share New Track End Of

Friday, 06 March 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Biffy Clyro have announced details of their ninth album, 'A Celebration Of Endings'.

After sharing the record's lead single Instant History last month, the Scottish trio revealed via their social media channels that they'll release the studio follow-up to 2016's 'Ellipsis' on May 15.

The Rich Costey-produced album also succeeds 2018’s 'MTV Unplugged: Live At Roundhouse London' and 2019's film soundtrack project 'Balance, Not Symmetry'. It'll be supported by a headline UK tour to be announced shortly, with pre-sale tickets accessible when pre-ordering the album.

Alongside the album details, Biffy have shared another new track from the record, End Of, a departure from the dance-tinged Instant History and a return to the aggressive, whirlwind math-rock sound of their earlier years. Check it out below, along with the record's artwork and tracklist.

Biffy Clyro will perform at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee in May.

'A Celebration Of Endings' tracklist:

1. North Of No South
2. The Champ
3. Weird Leisure
4. Tiny Indoor Fireworks
5. Worst Type Of Best Possible
6. Space
7. End Of
8. Instant History
9. The Pink Limit
10. Opaque
11. Cop Syrup
