Gorillaz Drop New Single Aries Featuring Peter Hook And Georgia

Gorillaz have released a new single.
Aries marks the third instalment from the virtual band's ongoing Sound Machine project — the first being Momentary Bliss and second being Désolé, which follows on from their 2018 album 'The Now Now'.
The electronica inflected track features up-and-coming alt-pop producer Georgia on drums and the legendary Peter Hook on bass duties. The single arrives with a cartoon video by Gorillaz creative director Jamie Hewlett, which sees the band's members Murdoc and 2D taking their motocycle for a spin around a deserted town.
Gorillaz guitarist Noodle said of the eclectic track: “Highly impatient and competitive, many Aries have the fighting spirit of your mythological ruler.” Listen below.
