The Killers Post Bruce Springsteen Collaboration Dustland

The Killers have shared their long-teased collaboration with Bruce Springsteen.
Called Dustland, the single is a re-recording of the band's song A Dustland Fairytale from their 2008 album 'Day & Age'.
The revamp arrives with a post on social media from The Killers' vocalist Brandon Flowers, explaining how the link up came about in February 2020. Quoting a text he received from the Boss, he revealed:
"Watching Glastonbury," the message from Springsteen reportedly read. "You guys have become one hellacious live band, my brother. Love the gold suit. We gotta do Dustland one day. – Bruce."
Suspicious that he was falling victim to a prank. "I google the area code," Flowers explained. "It’s from Freehold, New Jersey, and I'm still not convinced. I text Evan (Bruce and Patti's son who has become a buddy of mine) and get verification that the number really is coming from his old man."
Their plans were put on hold when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, but the rework was later made possible towards the end of that year. It finds the pair going back to back on the verses and singing in unison on its rousing chorus. Press play below.
The Las Vegas group released their latest album, 'Imploding The Mirage', in August 2020, while the Born To Run singer put out 'Letter To You' two months later.
In spring, they rescheduled the UK and Ireland leg of their Imploding The Mirage Tour to 2022 in response to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
Earlier in June, the 71-year-old revealed that his top-grossing Springsteen On Broadway show will return for a limited run this summer, opening on June 26 and continuing through to September 4 at New York's St. James Theater.
