The slow-burning, guitar-led track builds up to an anthemic crescendo and features backing vocals from Maxïmo Park's Paul Smith and Ross Millard of The Futureheads. It marks the singer-songwriter's first new music since her 'Homecoming' LP, released in April. She tweeted:
"SURPRISE! New song! We’re getting chaotic over here and releasing singles left right and centre without a plan because I feel like kicking the old album cycle structure up the wazoo."
