Uber marks the latest single from their upcoming fourth studio album, 'Amazing Things', due out on September 17.
Cast across searing guitars, synths and passionate vocals, it follows One True Prince and arrives as they prepare for a warm-up gig in Bournemouth ahead of headline slots at Slam Dunk Festival on September 4 and 5 in Leeds and Hatfield, respectively. They also tour the UK this autumn. The band said:
"This was the first song we started writing for the album a few years ago touring the States. Within the space of a week three separate Uber drivers were openly racist in front of us, I guess assuming as white guys we’d share their views. Uber is about being angry about that, being angry that racists seem to be growing in confidence to speak their hate in public and it’s a reminder to me to call out that discrimination whenever I see it."
