Sam Fender has shared a video for his new single, Spit Of You.

The poignant track premiered in September and will appear on the North Shields singer-songwriter's imminent LP, 'Seventeen Going Under', out through Polydor Records this Friday (October 8).

The Philip Barantini-directed clip features This Is England actor Stephen Graham portraying Fender's father, with the two embarking on a father-son camping trip. Fender previously commented on the single:

"Spit Of You is a song about boys and their dads. It's based around my own relationship with my old man, and how we both struggle as blokes to communicate the way we feel to each other without it becoming a stand off.

"It's about how the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as I get further in to my twenties I see so much of myself in him, especially when it comes to being stubborn."

Fender has headline shows in the diary for this autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
