Kurt Vile Releases New Track Hey Like A Child

Friday, 04 March 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

Kurt Vile has released a new track.

Hey Like A Child will appear on the Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter's upcoming ninth solo album and Verve Records debut, '(watch my moves)', due out on April 15.

Following his last single, Like Exploding Stones, the slack rocker unfurls around relaxed yet intricate, woozy guitars, guided by Vile's familiar nasal drawl.

It'll feature on the LP alongside collaborations with Sun Ra Arkestra's James Stewart, Chastity Belt, Cate Le Bon, and both Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa and Sarah Jones on percussion.

Vile will support the record with a previously announced world tour, with the US leg set to kick off in April, followed by UK and European dates in August and September. Tickets are on sale now.
