Pixies To Celebrate 'Bossanova' And 'Trompe Le Monde' LPs With UK And European Shows In Spring 2024

Pixies will celebrate their 'Bossanova' and 'Trompe le Monde' albums with UK and European shows next spring.
The Boston alt-rockers will perform their 1990 third studio album and the following year's fourth full-length in full at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre between March 8 and 10, Manchester's Albert Hall between March 12 and 14, and London's O2 Forum Kentish Town between March 16 and 18.
They'll follow the UK and Ireland run with three nights in both Amsterdam and Paris. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 9am local time this Friday (June 9).
Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Gil Norton, the hugely influential 'Bossanova' features singles such as Allison, Dig For Fire and Velouria. Its successor, 'Trompe le Monde', was recorded between Burbank, Paris, and London, again with Norton at the control desk, and contains the tracks Planet Of Sound, Alec Eiffel, Letter To Memphis, and the band's cover of The Jesus And Mary Chain's Head On.
The four-piece are currently touring North America in support of their 2022 LP, 'Doggerel'. The trek continues tonight (June 6) in Atlantis, Washington D.C. and includes an appearance at Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee on June 18.
