Top Tickets This Week: Twenty One Pilots, Vampire Weekend, Aurora, The Roots

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have announced The Clancy World Tour in support of their new album, 'Clancy', due out on May 17.

The first leg of the trek will take place in North America, kicking off on August 15 at the Ball Arena, Denver and wrapping up at the Target Center, Minneapolis on October 12.

They'll then head across Australia and New Zealand in November, with shows confirmed in Auckland, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

The European leg of the tour is scheduled for spring 2025, beginning on April 7 in Hamburg. It'll conclude with a run of shows across the UK and Ireland, with stops lined up at arenas in Glasgow, Birmingham, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and London, where they'll play two nights at The O2 on May 14 and 14, 2025.

Twenty One Pilots previously teased the record with the singles Overcompensate and Next Semester.


Vampire Weekend

The New York band have announced the winter UK and European leg of the Only God Was Above Us Tour.

They'll head to Dublin, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam and London, where they'll play both the Eventim Apollo and the O2 Academy Brixton, between November 29 and December 15.

Support on select dates will come from Ye Vagabonds, Teenage Fanclub, China Crisis, and Charlotte Adigery and Bolis Pupul. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on April 5 - Compare and buy tickets here.

The trek shares its name with the group's new album, which is out this tomorrow (April 5). They previously teased the record with the singles Mary Boone, ClassicalCapricorn and Gen-X Cops.


Aurora

The Norwegian singer-songwriter will bring her What Happened To The Earth? Part 1 Tour to the Royal Albert Hall in London on October 2 and Manchester's O2 Apollo on October 4 as part of a wider run of European dates.

The tour will support her new album, 'What Happened To The Heart?', which is due for release on June 7. 


The Roots

The Grammy Award-winning hip hop group will headline South Facing Festival at London's Crystal Palace Park Bowl on August 1, before heading to the South Coast the following day for a show at Dreamland, as part of the Margate Summer Series

Both shows will feature support from special guests De La Soul and The Pharcyde. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (April 5) - Compare and buy tickets here.

The Roots released their latest studio album, '...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin', in 2014. They currently perform as the official house band on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

  • Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello will play a solo London show in June.
  • WWE Clash At The Castle is set to head to Glasgow this summer.
  • Greg Davies has added even more dates to his Full Fat Legend Tour.
  • Maggie Rogers will play two intimate London shows this autumn as part of The Don't Forget Me Tour.
  • Flavour N'abania has announced a summer London show at the OVO Arena Wembley.
