Two more headliners have been announced for Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax.
Set to top the bill at the historic open-air courtyard are Squeeze (pictured) on August 1, joined on the bill by Badly Drawn Boy. That show will be seated, with standing space at the rear of the venue and on the balcony.
Doves will headline on August 23, with support from Cast and Apollo Junction. Tickets for both gigs go on general sale at 10am on Friday (February 21).
Other acts confirmed for this year's Live At The Piece Hall concert series include James, Gary Barlow, The Corrs, Pendulum, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Deftones, Dean Lewis, The Teskey Brothers, Weezer, Train, Busted, Olly Murs, The Script, Simple Minds, Rag'n'Bone Man, The Human League, Paul Heaton, Leon Bridges, Texas, Travis, Ill Divo, Roger Daltrey, Anastacia, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Libertines, The Saw Doctors, Supergrass, The Smashing Pumpkins, Faithless, and Khruangbin. Squeeze will also headline a number of other outdoor shows across the UK and Ireland this summer, including The Warwick Sessions on July 2 and Summer Nights At Caldicot Castle on August 3. Their latest studio album is 2017's 'The Knowledge'.
Doves will release their sixth studio album, 'Constellations For The Lonely', on February 28, amid a UK tour that runs between February 25 and March 8. The trio have already teased the record with the singles Saint Teresa, Cold Dreaming and Renegade. They'll also headline Cheltenham's Wychwood Festival on June 1 and Birmingham's Moseley Folk and Arts Festival on August 31. Tickets are on sale now.
