The thrash metal legends have added UK and European shows to their record-breaking M72 World Tour.
The band have lined up 16 shows for spring and summer 2026, with the run set to commence on May 9 in Athens, Greece, and culminate with two dates at London Stadium in the UK on July 3 and 5.
The trek features No Repeat Weekend dates in Frankfurt (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Dublin (Ireland), and London (England), which will see the band playing two dates in the same city, as has been the tradition on previous legs.
The run also includes several One Night Only shows with the tour's full production in Athens, Bucharest (Romania), Chorzów (Poland), Zurich (Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), Bologna (Italy), Glasgow (Scotland) and Cardiff (Wales).
Metallica will be joined by Gojira and Knocked Loose on most dates, but Pantera and Avatar will take over on the second nights in Frankfurt and Dublin, and first shows in Budapest and Dublin. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (May 30) - Compare and buy tickets here.
