Westside Cowboy have shared another early single from their debut EP.
Maintaining the raw, bedroom indie-rock sound of their recent tracks, Drunk Surfer marks the final preview of 'This Better Be Something Great', due out this Friday (August 8). Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Kris R. Vocalist Reuben Haycocks said:
"Drunk Surfer in all honesty was about a time that I have since forgotten. This is not something that I regret however, as the song is now free to take on new meanings depending on the context of my life. I hope it can work like this for others also."
This year's Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition winners previously shared the singles Alright Alright Alright, I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You), and Shells, all of which appear on the five-song release.
They'll celebrate the EP with a hometown show at The Pink Room in YES, Manchester this Saturday (August 9), before continuing their run of summer dates with sets at Latitude, Green Man, and End Of The Road. They'll also tour the UK with Blondshell in September, and join Black Country, New Road across Europe in October, prior to their own UK tour in November. Tickets are on sale now.
