RAYE has released a new single titled Where Is My Husband!.
Co-written and produced with long-time collaborator Mike Sabath, the theatrical, jazz-tinged pop track offers the first glimpse of the vocalist's yet-to-be-announced second album, the follow-up to 2023's 'My 21st Century Blues', set for release early next year via Human Re Sources/The Orchard.
Showcasing the two-time Ivor Novello Award winner and seven-time BRIT recipient's soaring vocals, the track made its debut as the opener to her Glastonbury Festival set in June. It was later performed at All Points East in London and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
To mark the song's release, the South London artist has announced a headline tour, titled This Tour May Contain New Music, which is set to run from January 22 and May 12.
RAYE will kick off the trek with European shows, including shows at Manchester's Co-Op Live, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Birmingham's BP Pulse LIVE, and The O2 in London, where she'll play two nights, before a date at Dublin's 3Arena on March 4.
The Grammy-nominated star will then head across North American between March 31 and May 12, with stops confirmed at legendary venues including New York City's Radio City Music Hall, Chicago's Auditorium Theatre, and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Joining RAYE as support for the entire tour are her two younger sisters, Absolutely and Amma, who recently shared the stage with her at All Points East. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Thursday (September 25).
Next month, RAYE will become the first recipient of an Ivors Academy Honour for her efforts to improve conditions for songwriters and composers, having previously urged the industry to fairly compensate artists for their work on songs. Head here for more details.
Earlier this year, she teamed up with Mark Ronson for two tracks, Suzanne and Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News, the latter featuring on the soundtrack for the new F1 film.
