Due to pre-sale demand, Super Furry Animals have added extra dates to the Supercabra Tour, their first tour in over a decade.
The Welsh band will double up at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow on May 9, Llandudno's Venue Cymru on May 15 and London's O2 Academy Brixton on May 23, following their previously confirmed shows at those venues the days prior.
Other stops on the trek include Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on May 6, Cardiff's Utilita Arena on May 16 and Manchester's O2 Apollo on May 21.
Support will come from duo Getdown Services on all dates, except in London where trio Honeyglaze will perform on the first night and The Bug Club on the second. Welsh six-piece Melin Melyn will also support at the Cardiff show. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 3).
The five-piece announced the tour earlier this week, alongside details of a 20th anniversary reissue of their 2005 album 'Love Kraft', due out on October 24. A previously unreleased bonus track, Rock 'N' Roll Flu, will drop tomorrow (October 2).
Their last studio album, 'Dark Days/Light Years', came out in 2009, though they’ve since released several anniversary editions of earlier albums.
