Super Furry Animals have announced a summer show in York.
The reunited Welsh band are the final headliners to be confirmed for Live At York Museum Gardens on July 11, with support coming from special guests Baxter Dury, Los Campesinos!, Divorce and Pys Melyn. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (January 30).
Headliners already confirmed for the concert series include OMD on July 9 and Self Esteem on July 10, followed by York Comedy Festival on July 12, with performances from Russell Howard, Ross Noble, Russell Kane, Joanne McNally and Suzi Ruffell. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
The new York date will follow the spring UK and Ireland leg of Super Furry Animals' Supercabra Tour, their first run of shows in over a decade. Getdown Services will support on all dates except London, which will feature Honeyglaze on the first night and The Bug Club on the second. Melin Melyn will appear in Cardiff.
The band will also headline the Bristol Sounds series, the Live At Llangollen Pavilion series, London's Alexandra Palace Park, and the Wider Than Pictures series in Dublin during the summer. Tickets for all previously confirmed shows are on sale now.
While they haven't released a studio album since 2009's 'Dark Days/Light Years', Super Furry Animals have stayed active with anniversary reissues, most recently the 20th anniversary edition of 'Love Kraft' in 2025, featuring the previously unreleased track Rock 'n' Roll Flu.
