Super Furry Animals have added a new show to their 2026 live plans.
The reunited Welsh band will be joined by special guest Gwenno at Cannons Marsh Amphitheatre on June 24 as part of the Bristol Sounds concert series. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 14.
Other acts confirmed to perform at the 2026 series so far include The Kooks, who'll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of 'Inside In/Inside Out' on June 23, The Streets, who'll perform 'A Grand Don’t Come For Free' in full on June 25 and 27, and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) on June 26. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
The new Bristol date will follow Super Furry Animals' Supercabra Tour, their first run of dates in over a decade. The tour kicks off in Dublin on May 6 before heading to Glasgow and Llandudno for two shows each, followed by stops in Cardiff, Manchester, and two nights in London. Support will come from duo Getdown Services on all dates, except in London, where trio Honeyglaze will perform on the first night and The Bug Club on the second. Welsh six-piece Melin Melyn will also support at the Cardiff show. Tickets are on sale now.
They released their latest studio album 'Dark Days/Light Years', in 2009, though they've since put out several anniversary editions of earlier records, the latest being a 20th anniversary reissue of 2005's 'Love Kraft', which includes a previously unreleased track, Rock 'N' Roll Flu.
