Kneecap have released a new single, No Comment.
Propelled by a punchy drum and bass-infused beat, the confrontational two-minute track features DJ and producer Sub Focus and addresses the terrorism charge against Kneecap member Mo Chara that was thrown out of court in September. They said:
"No comment is all about getting harassed by the British State. Simple as. Us Irish are well used to it, been happening for centuries. Was a pleasure to work with Sub Focus on this, the man is a legend."
Check out the single's cover art below, featuring a recently removed Banksy mural of a protestor lying beneath a judge wielding a gavel. The single will be released on limited edition vinyl with Get Your Brits Out on the b-side, making its vinyl debut.
No Comment follows the Irish rap trio's earlier 2025 standalone singles Sayōnara with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital and The Recap featuring drum and bass producer Mozey.
Kneecap are currently amid an autumn UK tour which continues with two performances at the O2 Academy Leeds later this week. They'll close out the year with two sold-out gigs at Dublin's 3Arena on December 16 and 17.
Kneecap released their second album, 'Fine Art', in summer 2024.
